Well, I've been admiring these adorable stamps for a while, so I finally ordered some! I can see what all the fuss is about, they are SO much fun to color! I've been working really hard on my coloring. I've improved a lot, so that makes me happy. I still have trouble now and then with certain things, and this little girl's cheeks did not turn out too well. When I put the cheek color down, it dried with an obvious ring. Can anyone help me with that?
This card is for a challenge on the Mothers and Daughters Creations blog. This is #17, "When God Closes a Door..." You were to use a window card. This window card is from Creative Cuts and More, it's a 5 1/4 Square Card with a filigree frame cut out. Instead of putting the image on the right side of the card as you open it, I glued it to the back of the window. I layered pink and black card stock on the inside so that it still looks pretty. CC&M has LOTS of window cards, and you can have them cut out of SO, SO many different cardstocks. You can also send in your own cardstock and they will cut it for you for half the price you see listed on the website. How nice is that?

I SO want to have to dress like that, jeans, a big chunky comfy droopy sweater, a scarf ... I want an excuse to put a scarf on ZOE and then watch her shred it, getting it off!! I love the warm-&-fuzzy sensation just steaming off this card!
Great card - love how the image peeks through.
Ohhh this is sooo sweet! Love the bow Carla! TFS!
Hey Carla, thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm with you on changing my favourite Shakespeare according to mood but Dream and Hamlet would probably always figure up there somewhere!
You have some great cards here! Love the humour of the turkey and this window card is sweet! What did you use to colour? I find chalk is a blessing for things like the cheeks - let everything dry then just use your chalk like blusher. If you water coloured then it might be that you had just a little too much colour and/or water on your brush, I think the drier the better and build up the depth of colour gradually if needed. HTH!
