Butterfly Banner

This is another banner from my Etsy shop.
There are only five picture slots there, so I thought I'd put the extra views here.
It was a sunny, breezy day when I took these pics, so some of these might be a tad overexposed or blurry.
You can still get the idea, and they did look so charming fluttering about on this old shed.
I began by die cutting lots of butterflies from vintage dictionary paper, kraft cardstock, and patterned paper.
Then, I made little butterfly sandwiches, with the kraft cardstock in the middle.
Next, I stitched them all together with silver and white threads.
As a final touch, I added a red vintage button to the bottom to help them hang nicely.

Autumn Banner

Banners are hard to photograph, and Etsy allows for only five photos per listing, so here are some extra views of this banner.
I printed the letters on gorgeous ivory cardstock for a vintage fall feel.
I rounded every corner so it looks pretty and finished.
I hand sponged all the edges to give it a lovely aged look.
As a final touch, I added 105 inches of hand crinkled seam binding in a gorgeous harvest brown.
I think it might be just the banner for you!
You can click on any image for an even larger view.
 Thanks for stopping by!
 Happy autumn!
