Sunday Morning Hodgepodge

 I used SU!'s Carved and Candlelit for this embossing heavy card.

 This card is all A Muse Studio, except for the window card, which you can have cut at Die Cut Diva.

 This is my favorite box from Die Cut Diva. I just love the size and the squareness of it. Zero to cute in minutes flat!

 Another Die Cut Diva item. These are perfect favors, especially with one of those little chocolate squares tucked inside.

Well, I put the Rapid Refill cartridge into my Epson Artisan last night, and it printed one picture beautifully. Then it gave me an error message saying it could not recognize the cartridge. What's so infuriating is that it printed a picture using the cartridge just fine. So it CAN print with a Rapid Refill cartridge, it just WON'T! Boo to you, Epson. I'll never buy another Epson product again, and I'll make certain to badmouth your printers at every opportunity. Tomorrow, it's back to Rapid Refill to return all my cartridges and then over to Staples to buy official Epson cartridges. The funny thing about genuine Epson cartridges is that if you search the web, you'll discover that Epson printers frequently reject genuine Epson cartridges as well. What a pain.

Project Life Front Page

 My very first Project Life page. I actually made this a year ago. I had to peel off the two in 2012 and replace it with a three. I also went back and added a few things. This is the Amber Edition. I don't know if it's still available, since I bought it more than a year ago. A Lot of Project Lifers are not sticking entirely with an original set these days. I'll use what I have, but I probably won't buy a whole set like this again. It does feel a little constraining.

 All I did here was add the felt and bead flower.

 Here I just got super crazy with an old SU! stamp set, a vintage vocabulary card, and an A Muse Studio swallow die cut. I plan to use vintage dictionary paper throughout the book as a theme. Words are my game, baby.

 This picture is out of focus, but it's not like we'll ever walk down the aisle for the first time again. This is what I've got, so in it goes.

 For each week, I'll have current happenings on the right, and an old page on the left. Like a THEN & NOW sort of thing. With just Wilson home, I think I can fit us in one page per week. If not, that's cool, too. I'll do what I like.

 So there you have it. I hope I get better at this. So far it's nothing to write home about, but it's a nice beginning. I'll be back next week with my first two page spread.

Yesterday I got a new black replacement cartridge for the Epson. I plan to try it out today. I'm kind of dreading it, though. What if it doesn't work? I really hate to be thwarted. I hate it in general, but when it's an inanimate object, it's even more infuriating!

Yes, it's Halloween in February!

 I got the cute black tinsel on this card from an Etsy shop. Have you ever checked Etsy for supplies? There are tons of unique supplies you can buy and support small businesses while getting your craft on. Also, you can find destash galore. I sell primarily handmade, like this card, but I have also sold a lot of Stampin' Up!, and shipped it all over the world.

 I sold this SU! set in my Etsy shop. On Etsy, you may buy and sell handmade, vintage or supplies.

 I used K & Co. die cuts here. I am crazy about those things. You get a gazillion of them, and about half the pack is pre-glittered!

This fun guy is another K & Co. diecut paired with Cosmo and some OLD Daisey D's, I think.

Today I have a few Etsy orders to get out, and lots of picture taking to do. Plus, I'm finally going to get over to Rapid Refill to exchange my Epson cartridge. I hope my printer recognizes the new one. There may be tantrums involved if it doesn't. I'll post Project Life pages once I get some done!!

 I used A Muse Studio's Keep Swimmin' for this card. Also, the fishbowl card is from Die Cut Diva. She has lots of dies and paper choices for very reasonable prices. You can see this card in my Etsy shop here.

 This LOVE banner has been a nice seller for me this Valentine season. I use vintage dictionary pages as my base. You just can't go wrong when you begin so well.

 Years ago, when I was designing for Artistic Outpost, we got a sheet of vintage circus poster art with the release of a circus stamp set. I made this pocket card using one of the images. Clowns creep me out, so this card does a little, too.

 This is another Die Cut Diva card base. When you start with a special card base, you don't have to do a lot. I got the vintage Christmas card printout from Lisa Pace years ago when I took a class with her. Phenomenal class, BTW!

DARLING Cosmo Cricket Halloween stuff. Isn't that cat the cutest? I have way too much Halloween stuff, and just can't seem to make a dent in it, even with my Etsy shop. I just love Halloween stuff!

Did you have pancakes yesterday for National Pancake Day? We had them for dinner. I used my homemade baking mix from the Dining on a Dime cookbook. Troy made sausage. He and I only got one piece each, and Wilson ate three. Now that's true love, my friends! I hope you have people in your life you'd let hog the sausage.

A Little More Love

 You can see from the next three cards that I just left the supplies on my desk and continued to make stuff. On the card above, I used my beloved A Muse Studio heart die. I love their curvy perfection. These are the large and medium hearts on the Heart Trio die. You can see more views of this card in my Etsy shop here.

 I used a My Favorite Things alphabet set on this card, too. That's just the letter "V" used to make a graphic pattern.

 On this one, I used the "O" and the period to make a pattern.

 This card doesn't look like much in the picture, but the green part is glimmer misted and shimmery, plus, that's a line of turquoise glitter!

This little bag box is a pattern from A Muse Studio. It's quick and easy to make and very versatile. Plus, I think it's super cute.

It's a balmy 17 degrees out this morning. I'll stay all snug inside and get caught up on some Etsy shipping this morning, then it's the post office, grocery store and Rapid Refill. As long as I'm standing at the end of the driveway when Wilson's bus pulls up, I'm happy! What do you have planned?

Alphabet Cards & a Doily Card

 I made this card this summer with a very old Stampin' Up! stamp set. I sold it, and this card in my Etsy shop in August or September.

 I spent some time trying to make a decent card using alphabet stamps. These three cards, none of which I like very much, are the fruits of my labor. The "You Are Awesome" card is my favorite, though, and is available right here. Sometimes people need a little reminder of their awesomeness!

 I used a My Favorite Things alphabet set, and an A Muse Studio sentiment set.

 I'm starting a Project Life album this year. I actually bought all the supplies last year, but just never got rolling. Now I'm raring to go, but my Epson Artisan 730 won't recognize my new Rapid Refill refills, so I'm annoyed. I have to drive across town to buy another refill to see if my printer will recognize it. After doing some research, I discovered that Epson printers are famous for this nonsense. My Epson printer might be taking a trip through the picture window if it doesn't learn how to behave.

I will be back soon to share my first Project Life pages, and how I am setting up my album. I'm doing mine differently than anyone else's I've seen. It's working so far.

Merry Christmas!!

 I've been making these angels from a chipboard album I came up with a few years ago. Each one has its own personality. I just painted them a creamy white, then I just go to town adding Christmas stuff.

 Both of the stamps I used on these tags are from Etsy stores. The cherub is from Picture Show Stamps, and the "Celebrate" is from Shady Tree Studio.

 I used an old SU! set here, with an A Muse Studio sentiment on these snowman tags.

 I was rummaging around in a drawer and I found this old tree punch. It was HARD to punch through white cardstock, but I really like the tree. I just used a quickie glue pen to add them to these festive tags.

I love making these fun and easy snowflake ornaments. I used just a few dies, some silver cord, a halfback pearl and a little edge sponging.

We are having such a beautiful Christmas Eve! The boys are all here, we've had a great dinner, and we are just enjoying each other's company. I hope you are lucky enough to be with someone you love tonight!
