Here's another set of pictures of a sweet little bird garland.
I die cut each bird from vintage dictionary paper and a variety of pink patterned paper.
Then I layered the two papers, and sewed them together with silver and white thread.
As I final touch, I added dew drop eyes to each bird for a bit of sparkle.
This garland is so light, and catches the air so easily.
Even inside, the air conditioning moves it around.
I have one hanging in the doorway of my studio. I can see it from the kitchen, and it's nice.
It's always interesting to me how such insignificant things can come together to make something pretty.
