Lots of talented stampers out there are doing what they call the CAS or Clean and Simple style of stamping. While I admire it in others, I can rarely pull it off. I'm more of a GAC girl: Glittered and Cluttered! This card is made with gifts I received from Jan Marie from Flourishes for HER birthday. Yes, you read that right. She sent me this set, Open to Love, and the note cards, just for playing with her stamps over on the Flourishes board on SCS. There are a bunch of girls who enjoy Flourishes stamps, and we hang out over there and encourage each other and just generally have a mutual admiration society. I have to give a plug to Flourishes, as they are absolutely wonderful to do business with. They are friendly, generous and prompt, plus their stamps are beautiful. But back to this card. I know it just isn't quite right, and that's a shame, because the stamps are gorgeous. I'll keep playing, hopefully my next card will be better!

I confess... I don't actually like the cleans simple stamping look. I know it's popular, and I appreciate the genre - but I like what you do much more. Keep it up- you're inspiring me :)

I just totally love all your stuff you make. This is so cute. I got my bombshell stamps in yeah.... now I am saving for the bombhell herself stamp set. I got the western one first. too cute
Laugh? This is everything you describe it to be an attempt at. She seems wistful, contemplative - a pose I find myself in occasionally. I think it's grand. I think you are better at CAS than you believe; maybe I'm better at cute than I think, too. We just don't see it yet.
