Aquamarine Owl

I know these are odd colors for a barn owl, I don't know what possessed me to use these colors, but I did, and here they are!The owl is stamped in Aquamarine Chalk Ink, and there is some Almost Amethyst in the background. All the paper is SU! It's Basic Black, Almost Amethyst and Spring Flowers. The word "aspire" is Making Memories magnetic stamps. I used a Tim Holtz distressing tool, and three SU! punches and a black brad from my stash. This is a quick card, 10-15 minutes, tops. All ink pads and refills are 20% off through May 11th at Creative Play Stamps. That's a screamin' deal, girlfriends!

In the winter, though, if you see an owl or any bird in their winter feathers through the frosty, or really chilled/crisp winter air, especially early in the mornings, the air looks turquoise and the birds tend to glisten white in the air. This is beautiful!
