I'm just flying by the seat of my pants here! If it weren't for my good friend Veronica, Art of Creative Play Stamps, and Lisa, the DT coordinator for Artistic Outpost, I couldn't do any of this! I have some questions:
1. How do you respond to comments? Right now I open the email notification, click on the person's name, then click on their blog in their profile. Something tells me there has to be a better way! There are problems with this method! Not everyone has their blog in their profile. Why is that?
2. What do you do when someone comments in another language, or invites you to look at their blog, which is completely in another language?
3. Where is TeresaK? Her blog is gone, yet she still leaves lovely, thoughtful comments on my blog. I used to enjoy her blog. She's an excellent writer and a great stamper. Are we not supposed to get attached to each other? Is it odd for me to worry about someone I don't even know?

Teresa K deleted her blog cuz it was distracting her too much from writing/finishing her thesis. I know, I panicked too! But she plans to be back - YAY!!!

I usually respond in like kind. I don't think blogging is for everyone though. It's almost like a second job!
I try to respond in kind to those who comment on my blog. If the same person comments a few times, I tend to add them to my blog roll.
I try to respond directly back if there is an email address linked to the email. However, if it is a "no-reply comment" in the "TO" line, then I either post back to their blog or respond to their question within my blog under/near their post. As for other languages, I have not had to cross that bridge as of yet. I would perhaps post in English with a Thank you for visiting by blog" and let it go at that? TeresaK had me worried too! But seeing her post here and there was nice... it means that she's still out there. I can't wait for her to get back online.
