Free Inkadinkado Stamp!! And MY BOY!!

So, as usual, I did not schedule a shoot with a pro in a timely manner and was in a near panic when time was essentially out. (I have this EXACT same problem when my roots are looking hideous and I can't get an appointment because there's a waiting list!) So anyway,  oldest DS said, "Mom, why don't you take them?" I said, "Grab Veronica, let's go!" (Veronica is his bass.) So we took them, then drove an hour to the nearest WalMart and had them printed. I paid less than $63 for his senior pictures. The gal at WalMart was a little suspicious.  It was hard for her to argue with me, though,  when I had the actual child standing right next to me wearing the exact same clothes. I told her I just took the pictures a couple of hours ago. She said she could hire me out. So now I have a big head, which is a big joke, because I'm really not a very good photographer!

I got in on the free stamp promotion over at Inkadinkado! I sent my three cards in, and they sent me two beautiful wood mounted stamps, and one dollar sized acrylic set. I was very pleased. I actually don't have another shell stamp that comes to mind immediately, so it was nice to have one this beautiful to play with. The other wood mounted stamp I got is a large vertical tiered wedding cake.

Kudos on Tulane for your son! I checked out his blog and told my daughter she should check it out...then realized that it was last year when he last wrote! Tell him we need Christian teen bloggers with a good grasp of the English language :-)
Did you say you were in CO? I'm in Aurora :-)

The card is luscious; the male child is gorgeous! Do you ever find yourself looking at your boys and wondering at how stunning they are? I do, a lot ... I feel abashed about it, but I'm not being arrogant -- it usually is a realization/thought that takes me by surprise -- one of them will glint a smile at me and I'm just blown away. Hmmmm. A mom thing, surely. Mine didn't sit for graduation photos either, so I'm sure he'll be counting on me. I gotta remember to tell Veronica (mine) about Veronica-the-Bass! HAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Wow what a handsome young man! Your photos are fantastic. I love the background setting you used and the silhouette; my fave! AND you can't beat the price. Cool thing with Inka. Love this card. Is the background emobssed? very cool.
