Crafty Secrets & Flourishes Challenge Cards

Sometimes cards have a mind of their own, and this is one of those cards. I almost didn't post it, however, Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge this week was to use chalks. For this Open to Love image, I used Chalk Enhancer I got at GKD. CE is a liquid, and it sort of turns your chalks into paints. It does have a learning curve, and I have been trying it on various surfaces. So far it works the best on this chipboard. I just love the way the color looks, and think it might also work on kraft.

If you like the looks of the Bazzill Bling Black Tie heart or the Gold Stardream heart, you can check the cardstock at Creative Cuts and More.

This week's Crafty Secrets challenge was to use some unloved stamps. This sweet border stamp is from Baby Boy. I also colored this with the Chalk Enhancer. The papers are from the CS Classic pad and Melissa Frances. I get all my Crafty Secrets goodies at Creative Play Stamps.

Very nice projects. I have also tried the Chalk Enhancer from GKD and it is way too neat and fun to use.

It's always the ones you say you almost didn't post that I love. Wench. Should I be concerned about my taste in greeting cards? (hee)

My commenting has sucked lately, and is only going to get worse until after the 14th, when I return from England. Please forgive me!

Carla, you are working magic with your chalks. Both cards are beauties. Love the vintage look of the crafty secrets border. Adorable! And I really adore your Flourishes card -- the coloring is fantastic! Guess I'm going to have to buy me some chalk enhancer.
