Thanks so much!

I like this card's LO. I've been looking at it and thinking it would make a great Christmas Card. It's only two layers, there's no coloring, it would use up and show off some of the Christmas paper I have too much of, and it has a fun embellie and some sparkle. That about covers it, I think!

Everything on this card except the Stickles, button, thread, and Glimmer Mist is from GinaK. I like spraying the white paper flowers from GKD with Glimmer Mist to make them any color I want. The base here is GKD Chocolate Kiss Base Weight cardstock. It is the heaviest cs I have ever used, and I love it! I hope she has layering weight in this color, too, because this will replace my beloved Chocolate Chip, which I have been using for nine years as my go to brown.

The pink patterned paper is from the very first GKD STamp TV kit, Floral Frenzy. I think it's digi paper, and you may still be able to buy it. I have no idea. I have so much stinkin' paper, I would no more print paper than I would go outside in my bra and panties. It's a trend I will probably never be a part of. I do like the papers, though, and I use them when they come in my STV kits-I'm just not going to waste printer ink printing them!

I think the grosgrain ribbon is from the FFSTV kit, too. You get tons of ribbon in these kits, and I love the selection. I am hoping my Holiday Cheer Stamp TV kit arrives today, I'm kicking myself for not ordering on the first, I ordered mine on the third, and I'm hating the wait! It usually doesn't take more than a week, though, I'm just impatient!!

Yippee!!

I paired arivedercibella with Polka Dot Parade from Layers of Color. I was lucky enough to win this set from LofC, and I love it, and thought the sentiment worked well here. Going on a trip is big fun, don't you think? This is yet another simple card for me, but it has enough detail to make me happy. I even squirted Aqua Stickles underneath each one of the stamens on the Prima flower.

I hope you all make time to do some stamping this weekend! I know I will!! Who cares how awful my house looks, right?

Because it has a song!!

This was for the Unity Challenge on WCMD over on SCS. We were to use a quote. I don't know why I don't use my Unity stamps more often-I have a lot of them. It seems I just don't know what to do with them sometimes, but I think the results are usually pretty good when I do get them out. They are such cute and modern stamps! I added some Crafty Secrets Sweet Chips Chipboard and covered the heart with MS Brownstone glitter. Overall, a very simple card!

Wishes of Joy

I told you I'd post something besides GinaK today, didn't I? So here's some Crafty Secrets goodness. The sweet image is from the Autumn Vintage Cuts sheet. These are beautiful, vintage images printed on glossy card stock. I love to do cracked glass with them because they are so sturdy. They are also such a quick way to make a pretty card. I love to color, but this is quicker. The gorgeous glitter is Art Glitter in Volcano. It looks really good with copper. I have a thing for copper.

Motivet Blog Candy!!

A true friend...

I promise I will post something that does NOT use the GinaK Signs of Autumn Stamp TV kit tomorrow! These pumpkins are my favorite stamp in the kit so far. I haven't used them all, so I might change my mind, but aren't they wonderful? I love the way they look in gold. The gold, by the way, was part of a challenge I played last week, but I can't for the life of me remember which challenge. Maybe some day I'll find my brain, we'll see. (Don't count on it.)

Guess what? I won two gorgeous stamp sets from Verve in the World Card Making Day celebration over at SCS! I can't believe how lucky I am sometimes! Maybe the Good Lord is trying to make me feel better about the whole missing brain thing!!! God is good. You heard it right here!~

Blessed are those...

Here is another one from my Gina K Designs Signs of Autumn StampTV kit. I used this week's sketch challenge over on STV. Most everything here is from the Signs of Autumn kit except the Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss & Very Vanilla card stock. I love that the STV kits come with a really diverse image set and a large sentiment set. I was telling my sister that I like that the kits aren't only cute or only sophisticated, there's something for everyone in them! I ordered the Holiday Cheer kit on the third, so I'm trying to actually use the Signs of Autumn kit before it arrives!!
